This 16-hour class will focus on the proper method to calculate heat loss for a residential home using a Manual J workbook and spreadsheet.  Information from the spreadsheet will be used to calculate the heat loss for each room, and the entire house.  Duct design will incorporate information from the heat loss spreadsheet to design a duct system to distribute the correct amount of air to each room to satisfy the load.  NOTE: This class qualifies for NATE Continuing Education Hours.

We have scheduled a Load Calculation and Duct Design class to run four Wednesday evenings on 12/21, 1/4, 1/11 & 1/18 at the Training Center, Room 118, from 4:30 - 8:30 PM with Mario Salute.  A current dues receipt is mandatory to attend class.  WARM AIR focus is on the first 2 nights of class; VENTILATION focus is on the last two nights of class.

If you haven’t already registered for this class, contact Jana at 651-779-6264 or jsand@metrojatc.org.
