cancelled due to low interest in January - ADVANCED ARCHITECTURAL SOLDERING

This is a four-day class, January 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2024, from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Architectural Shop Room 130.

In this 16-hour class, you will gain some advanced skills in soldering galvanized iron, stainless steel and copper. Lab time will be spent soldering in horizontal, angled and vertical positions. Materials and equipment used will reflect both shop and field conditions.

Information from the spreadsheet will be used to calculate the heat loss for each room, and the entire house. Duct design will incorporate information from the heat loss spreadsheet to design a duct system to distribute the correct amount of air to each room to satisfy the load. NOTE: This class qualifies for NATE Continuing Education Hours We have scheduled a Load Calculation and Duct Design class to run on Tuesdays: 12/12, 12/19, 1/9, 1/16, (& optional 1/23) at the Training Center, Room 118, from 4:30 - 8:30 PM with Mario Salute.
