Revit building
design software is specifically built for Building Information Modeling
(BIM). This product includes features
for architectural design, mechanical/electrical/piping (MEP), structural
engineering, and construction.
This 28-hour
class will introduce experienced Foreman, Apprentices, and Detailers
to the use of this software. Prerequisite
to taking this advanced class: some experience in or Beginning Revit BIM
Software Class, proficient use of a computer.
You will be
learning Revit family creation, Plot Sheet set-up, using Design Options,
Advanced Scheduling, Project Phasing, Inserting point clouds into Revit model,
Inserting Point clouds into Navisworks, Clouding and revising sheets, Roof
opening plans with Trimble points and general BIM coordination knowledge.
