A 16-hour FIRE LIFE SAFETY LEVEL ONE CLASS is scheduled to start on November 15. Successfully completing this class and the included exam will certify you as a National Energy Management Institute (NEMI) Life Safety Systems Level One Technician. Here is the class description:
- Building Codes require the design of an integrated system of building features to protect occupants from fire and smoke. This class will ensure that you have the core knowledge necessary to competently install, inspect, and maintain the fire, smoke, ceiling and combination fire/smoke dampers in the HVAC portion of these systems.
