Green Construction Awareness - LEED Green Associate Class

We are offering a Green/LEED Class on Mondays, June 7 & 14 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. This eight-hour class will extend to 24-hours for some students.
The first eight hours of the class are devoted to educating you on sustainability, LEED, green construction practices and projects, and the dos and dont's associated with them. Those wishing to pursue the LEED Green Associate credential will then go on to the remaining sessions for further training.
Please know in advance that pursuing and attaining the LEED GA credential requires a substantial amount of self-study time, which this class will help prepare you for, as well as some $. The exam for the LEED GA credential is administered by the Green Building Certification Institute. Completion of this class does NOT get you the LEED GA credential, but it WILL do a very good job preparing you to take the exam that will get you the credential.
Dates for the remaining class sessions will be determined on the second night of class by those students choosing to continue.

To enroll in this class, please contact Kate: kmino@metrojatc.org OR 651.779.6264
