OPEN WELD

 Wednesday nights 4:30 - 8:30

This class is open to all members wishing to learn new weld skills or enhance existing ones, whether it is oxy-fuel, stick, wire, or heliarc welding. Various certifications will be attainable within this class for those wishing to certify, including structural and lagging weld certs. This is an open-entry, open-exit class. You may want to come in for one night only to re-certify or spend a dozen nights practicing for the D1.1 Structural certification.

OSHA 30 CLASS STARTS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2018

This OSHA 30 Class runs from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the following nights:  MONDAY 11/5, WEDNESDAY 11/7, MONDAY 11/12, and TUESDAYS 11/13, 12/11, 12/18.  Mark Szybatka will be the instructor for this 30-hour class, which will be held in Room 122 at the Training Center.  A CURRENT DUES RECEIPT is mandatory to attend class.  Please contact Jana to sign up for this class:  jsand@metrojatc.org or 651-779-6264.  There are a limited number of openings and they will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

FOR THOSE WHO MISSED DAY 1, MAKE UP DAY IS WEDNESDAY 11/28/18.  YOU MUST BE HERE ALL SIX DAYS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A CARD.  

RIGGING & SIGNAL PERSON TRAINING
Please contact the Sheet Metal Training Center to enroll in the Rigging class. If there is sufficient interest, a class will be held before the end of the school year.

Fire Life Safety Level One Class will be held on the following dates from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

• April 23, 2018
• April 30, 2018
• May 7, 2018
• TBD: Certification Exam Session

Jon Knudson will be the instructor for this 16-hour class which will be held in Room 124 at the Training Center.  A CURRENT DUES RECEIPT IS REQUIRED.
